About Pirtobrutinib

Pirtobrutinib is a prescribed medicine for the treatment of:

  • Relapsed or refractory mantle cell, also known as MCL in adult patients.

Strength

Tablets of 50mg, 100mg


Recommended Dosage 

  • It is recommended that you should take 200mg once a day.
  • Do not crush or chew the tablet, and take it with water.
  • You can manage the toxicity of the dose interruption in treatment or dosage reduction.
  • Patients experiencing renal impairment should given a reduced dose.

Warning and precautions 

  • Infections: Check for signs and symptoms of any kind of infection and evaluate promptly with needed treatment.
  • Hemorrhage: evaluation of patient regularly, checking bleeding, and managing it appropriately.
  • Cytopenias: Complete blood counts during treatment should be monitored
  • Atrial Fibrillation and Atrial Flutter: Keep checking the patient for arrhythmias symptoms and manage from time to time.
  • Second Primary Malignancies: Other malignancies can develop, including skin cancers.
  • Embryo-Fetal Toxicity: Pirtobrutinib can cause severe harm to the fetus. Give proper guide to females of reproductive potential of potential risk to a fetus of a female and to use effective contraception.
