Who is Sansfro?
We assist individuals all across the world in gaining access to genuine rare disease medicines that are not available in their own countries. We are an independent pharmaceutical platform and overseas pharmacy that sources each drug for specific patients’ compassionate use and oversees all aspects of shipping, customs, and delivery. We have provided access to thousands of life-improving medications to patients from over 90 countries so far. Our aim is to provide the best medicines to everyone in the world, regardless of where they reside.

Access to Medicine through Named Patient Import Program
Patients suffering from life-threatening or incapacitating conditions have the right to access, acquire, and import medications recommended by their doctors, even if the treatment is not yet licensed and/or available in the patient’s country.
Patients and their consulting doctors can do so on a named patient import basis, which is a legal exemption to the usual rule that a drug can only be marketed if it has received market authorization. The following are the general prerequisites for an exemption to import an unapproved medicine:
- # Not approved and/or available in the patient’s own country, but available abroad;
- # A life-threatening or incapacitating condition; no other options;
- # Personal Use for a single patient;
- # A prescription from the patient’s treating physician
- # Additional criteria may apply based on the destination country’s particular national regulations.
Genuine Medicines
We only provide genuine medicines that are GDP-compliantly sourced. As a pharmaceutical wholesale distributor, we strictly adhere to the EU-GDP complaint regulations.
We must adhere to a strict set of guidelines established by the Ministries of Health, appropriate International, European, and National legislation, as well as customs restrictions.
We carefully choose and inspect our suppliers based on the origin and quality of the items they supply, as well as the credentials and capacity of their organization to maintain a stable stock. We bargain to get the best price so that we may pass on the savings to the patients we help.
